My passion for photography started from early age, when I was only 8. I tried to convince my parents to buy me a camera but it was a hard sell( at the time, in Romania, was very expensive and hard to find).
After intensive negotiations and 3 or 4 month of convincing I was a proud owner a brand new camera. It was the Smena 6 .

By the time what I was 12 I was able to take a picture ( most of the time in focus and decent exposure ) and master the darkroom process.
In high school I was using the old camera ( it was old but in the same time the best one, being the only one I had ) and I was working for local police in the darkroom. I had access to the darkroom and practically did work for police in exchange to use darkroom.

In the third year of University I had convinced my girlfriend ( later did not pass on the chance to marry her! ) to purchase a new camera and a darkroom lab in the residence hall.

I was taking BW pictures of my colleague and I was quickly one of the person which wil be present to almost all the parties in our residence hall.
Years passed by and in 2005 I had the possibility to purchase a 20D Canon camera. Since I was upgrading the gear but not always I had the time to take picture..
